30 Days of Night is a 2007 American horror film based on the comic book miniseries of the same name. The film is directed by David Slade and stars Josh Hartnett, Melissa George, and Danny Huston. The film was released in the United States on October 19, 2007. The story focuses on the Alaskan town of Barrow, beset by vampires as it enters into a thirty-day long period without sunshine. The film follows a group of people who struggle to survive until sunlight returns.

Steve Niles and Ben Ketai scripted a sequel, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, to be directed by Ketai. Niles reported thatthe film would begin shooting on October 20, 2009, although casting was still in progress.

Black Sunday (Italian title: La maschera del demonio, also known as The Mask of Satan) is a 1960 Italian horror film directed by Mario Bava, from a screenplay by Ennio de Concini and Mario Serandrei. The film stars Barbara Steele, John Richardson, Arturo Dominici, and Ivo Garrani. It was Bava's directorial debut, although he had completed several previous feature films without credit. Black Sunday is a loose adaptation of Nikolai Gogol’s short story “Viy”, about a vampiress-witch who is put to death by her own brother — only to return two hundred years hence to feed on her descendants. By the social standards of the 1960s, Black

Sunday was considered unusually gruesome, and was banned in the U.K. until 1968, because of its violence. In the U.S., some of the gore was censored, in-house, by the distributor, American International Pictures, before its theatrical release to the country’s cinemas. Despite the censorship, Black Sunday was a world-wide critical and box office success — and launched the careers of director Mario Bava and movie star Barbara Steele. In 2004, one of its sequences was voted number 40 among the “100 Scariest Movie Moments”, by the Bravo Channel.

28 Days Later is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic horror/science fiction film directed by Danny Boyle. Sequels

A sequel, 28 Weeks Later, was released on 11 May 2007. Danny Boyle and Alex Garland took producing roles alongside Andrew Macdonald. The plot revolves around the arrival of American troops about seven months after the incidents in the original film, attempting to revitalise a nearly desolate Britain. The cast for this sequel includes Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Harold Perrineau, Catherine McCormack, Amanda Walker and Idris Elba.

Fox Atomic Comics, in association with HarperCollins, has

published a graphic novel bridging the time gap between 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, entitled 28 Days Later: The Aftermath, written by Steve Niles.

In 1969 Pasadena, California, a young Spanish couple rush to the mansion of wealthy medium Shaun San Dena (Flor de Maria Chahua). Their son had stolen a necklace from a wagon of gypsies three days prior, and has been complaining about seeing and hearing voices. San Dena tries to help the boy in a seance, but San Dena and the boy's parents are attacked by an unseen force. The boy is grabbed by demons and pulled into Hell in front of San Dena.

In 2009 Los Angeles, California, bank loan officer Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) hopes to be promoted to assistant manager over her co-worker Stu Rubin (Reggie Lee). Her boss, Mr. Jacks (David Paymer), advises her to demonstrate that she can make tough decisions to get this job. Christine is constantly thwarted by Stu, who attempts to portray Christine as incompetent to Mr. Jacks. Christine is visited at the bank by Sylvia Ganush (Lorna Raver) who asks for a third extension on her overdue mortgage payment. To prove herself to Mr. Jacks, Christine denies Ganush the extension. Ganush resorts to begging for help and complains bitterly to about being humiliated when Christine calls for security. Security guards escort Ganush out with Mr. Jacks complimenting Christine on how she handled the situation.

Upon leaving the bank, Christine is attacked in her car by Ganush. After a violent struggle, Ganush removes a button from Christine's jacket and uses it to place a curse on Christine. Later, Christine's boyfriend, Clay Dalton (Justin Long), tries to comfort her. They pass a fortune teller's store, where they meet the fortune teller Rham Jas (Dileep Rao), who tells Christine that she is being haunted by an evil spirit. Alone at home, Christine is attacked by the dark spirit, causing minor injuries, and has dreams about Mrs. Ganush attacking her in bed. At work the next day, she has a nosebleed, soaking a horrified Mr. Jacks in blood. Fleeing work, Christine tries to find Ganush at the home of her granddaughter Ilenka (Bojana Novakovic). Christine learns that Ganush died the previous night, and Ilenka is in the process of holding a memorial service for her. Christine returns to Rham Jas, who explains that the spirit haunting her is a powerful demon called the Lamia that will torment for three days before taking her to Hell. Rham Jas suggests a sacrifice to appease the demon, which leads to Christine killing her pet kitten. At a dinner party with Clay and his parents, Christine is still tormented by the Lamia, which frightens the Daltons.

Further attacks from Ganush persist, which lead to Christine and Clay deciding to pay $10,000 to enlist the help of the powerful medium Shaun San Dena (Adriana Barraza). San Dena prepares a séance, to trap the Lamia's spirit in a goat and kill it, vanquishing the spirit. This plan fails as the Lamia attacks Rham Jas and Christine, the Lamia vowing that it will not rest until it takes Christine's soul to Hell. San Dena banishes the Lamia from the seance, but dies in the process. Rham Jas then tells Christine the only way to get rid of the curse is to give the cursed item to someone as a gift, thereby passing the curse on to that person. Christine seals the button in an envelope but during a car journey with Clay she mixes it up, accidentally, with a number of other letters before managing to retrieve it. Trying to find a recipient, Christine eventually decides to give the button to Ganush. Christine drives to the cemetery where she digs up Ganush's grave. In a torrential downpour, Christine jams the envelope in Ganush's mouth. The next day, Christine goes to Los Angeles Union Station to meet Clay, where they plan to spend a weekend in Santa Barbara. As the train approaches, Clay gives her the envelope with the button in it saying she had dropped it in his car. Christine then realizes she mixed up envelopes in the car the night before. Horrified, Christine falls on the train tracks as a train barrels towards her. Before the train hits her, demonic hands rise from a fiery hole in the ground. Clay watches in horror as she is dragged beneath the train, to Hell.

Josh enters a dark university library intending to meet Douglas Ziegler. There he is attacked by a humanoid spirit that sucks the will to live out of him. Some days later, Josh's girlfriend, Mattie visits his apartment and finds him looking pale shortly before he commits suicide by hanging himself with an ethernet cable.

Mattie and her friends begin to receive online messages from Josh asking for help but assume that Josh's computer is still on and that a virus is creating the messages. Mattie learns that Josh's computer has been sold to Dexter McCarthy (Dex), who finds a number of strange videos on the computer.

Mattie receives a package that Josh mailed two days before he died. Inside are rolls of red tape and a message telling her that the tape keeps "them" out, although he doesn't know why. Later, Dex visits Mattie and shows her video messages Josh was sending to Ziegler. Josh had hacked Ziegler's computer system, stolen and then distributed a virus. This virus had unlocked a portal that connected the realm of the living to the realm of the dead. Josh believed he had coded a counter to the virus and wanted to meet Ziegler at the library. Josh's counter-program is found on a memory stick taped inside the PC case with red tape.

Dex and Mattie visit Zieglar and find his room entirely plastered in red tape. Ziegler tells them of a project he worked on where he found "frequencies no one knew existed." Opening these frequencies somehow allowed the spirits to travel to the world of the living. Ziegler also tells them that that these spirits "take away your will to live" and where to find the main server infected with the virus.

Dex and Mattie find the server and upload Josh's fix, causing the system to crash and the spirits to vanish. Moments later, however, the system reboots and the spirits return leaving Mattie and Dexter with no option but to flee the city by car. Over the car radio, Mattie and Dex hear a radio report from the Army announcing the location of several "safe zones" where there are no Internet connections, cell phones, or televisions. As Dex and Mattie drive to a safe zone, the film concludes with a voice-over from Mattie saying "We can never go back. The cities are theirs. Our lives are different now. What was meant to connect us to one another, instead connected us to forces that we could have never imagined. The world we knew is gone, but the will to live never dies. Not for us, and not for them." and clips of abandoned cities, including a window of an apartment with Josh looking through it.

Jeepers Creepers is a 2001 horror film written and directed by Victor Salva. The movie takes its name from the song "Jeepers Creepers" which is featured in the movie. Incidentally, the song was first featured in the Warner Bros. film Going Places, which at one time was owned by this film's distributor United Artists (along with the rest of the pre-1950 Warner library).

Sequels

In 2003 a sequel was released, Jeepers Creepers 2. Events in the second film take place days after the first film. The Creeper and Darry are the only characters to appear in both films, although they are not the only actors to appear in both films. In the first film, actor Tom Tarantini appears as the minor character "Austin McCoy" AKA "Roach" who is a car thief and regular in the Poho County jail. In the second he portrays "Coach Dwayne Barnes".

MGM has announced a third installment, Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral. The film will continue the story of the original film with Trish (Gina Philips) as she fears her son will have the same fate as her long lost brother Darry (Justin Long), the boy's namesake. The film will also feature the infamous Creeper truck. Jonathan Breck will return as the Creeper. Victor Salva will return as both director and writer. It has recently been confirmed that MGM Studios is interested in bringing a fourth movie to the series and that they intend Salva to film it back-to-back with Jeepers Creepers 3

After settling their affairs, Emma (Monica Potter), John (Tony Goldwyn), and their daughter Mari Collingwood (Sara Paxton) head out on vacation to their lake house. Shortly after arriving, Mari borrows the family car and drives into town to spend time with her friend Paige (Martha MacIsaac). While Paige works the cash register at a local store, she and Mari meet Justin (Spencer Treat Clark), a teenager passing through the town who invites them both back to his hotel room to smoke some marijuana. While the three are hanging out in the hotel room, Justin's family members return: Krug (Garret Dillahunt), Justin’s father; Francis (Aaron Paul), Justin’s uncle; and Sadie (Riki Lindhome), Krug’s girlfriend.

Krug shows Justin a local newspaper that has Krug’s and Sadie’s pictures on the front page, and which explains how Sadie and Francis broke Krug out of police custody and killed the two officers that were transporting him. Believing it too risky to let Paige and Mari go, Krug kidnaps them and uses their vehicle to leave town. While Krug searches for the highway, Mari convinces him to take a road that leads him to her parent’s lake house; Mari then attempts to jump out of the vehicle, but the ensuing fight amongst all the passengers causes Krug to crash into a tree. Frustrated by Paige’s attempts to escape, Sadie and Francis proceed to beat Mari as she crawls away from the wreckage. Krug attempts to teach his son to "be a man" by forcing him to fondle Mari’s breasts. When Justin refuses Krug decides to rape Mari. Paige begins insulting him to get him to stop, which causes Krug to pause momentarily only to stab Paige with his knife. As Mari watches Paige bleed to death she is raped by Krug. Afterward, Mari musters enough strength to escape the group and make it to the lake so that she can swim to safety. Before she can swim far enough Krug shoots her in the back, leaving her to bleed out in the lake.

A storm forces Krug and his gang to seek refuge with John and Emma, whose home is nearby. Justin realizes that they are Mari’s parents, and intentionally leaves a necklace Mari was wearing on the counter to alert them about their daughter. When John and Emma find Mari barely alive on their porch, along with the necklace from the counter, they realize that the people who did this to Mari are in their home. As they try and find the key to their boat, so that they can take Mari to the hospital, they decide to get revenge on those responsible. When Francis happens upon Mari he is attacked and killed by John and Emma. When the couple go after Krug and Sadie they find Justin in possession of Krug’s gun; Justin gives the gun to John so he can kill Krug. Sadie awakens and interrupts John, allowing Krug the chance to escape the couple where he pieces together that they are Mari’s parents. After Emma shoots Sadie in the head, John runs after Krug. With a combined effort from Emma, John, and Justin, Krug is knocked unconscious. John paralyzes Krug from the neck down, and leaves him to die with his head in an active microwave; then he, Emma, Mari, and Justin take the boat to the local hospital.

SYNOPSIS

Thirteen Ghosts (also known as Thir13en Ghosts or 13 Ghosts) is a 2001 horror film directed by Steve Beck. It is a remake of the 1960 film of the same name by William Castle. It follows the remake of another one of Castle's films, House on Haunted Hill.

The twelve ghosts that make up the fictional "Black Zodiac" each have their own unique back stories. Although these stories were not described in the film, on the DVD, the production and make-up teams explain their guidelines. Cyrus narrates each ghost's back story.

1. The First Born Son - The First Born Son is the ghost of Billy Michaels, a boy who was a fan of cowboy films. One day, a neighbor found a real steel arrow in his parents' closet. He challenged Billy to a duel, with Billy using a toy gun. However, his plaything was no match for the arrow, and he died when the neighbor shot it through the back of his head. In death, Billy is in his cowboy suit and holding a tomahawk, with the arrow still protruding from his head. His ghost whispers "I want to play".

2. The Torso - The Torso is the ghost of a gambler called Jimmy "The Gambler" Gambino. He spent most of his days on the track, making bets and brainwashed into winning. One day, he made a deal with a rich business man, and so sealed his fate. When he bet heavily on a boxing match and lost, he tried to renege his bet and slip out of town. The mob and the winning boxer, to whom he owed money, caught up with Gambino and cut him into several pieces, wrapping them in cellophane and dumping the corpse into the ocean. His ghost is just his torso, trying to walk around on its hands, while his head lies nearby screaming within the cellophane.

3. The Bound Woman -The Bound Woman was a cheerleader named Susan LeGrow, who was born privileged and had a penchant for seducing men and tossing them away. This left a long trail of broken hearts. When her boyfriend found her cheating he strangled her and killed the other boy. He buried her body at the 50-yard line of the local football field. The boyfriend was convicted and sentenced to death; before his execution, he was quoted as saying, "The bitch broke my heart, so I broke her neck." Her ghost is in her prom dress, hanging suspended by the strangling implements with her arms tied behind her back.

4. The Withered Lover - The Withered Lover is Jean Kriticos, Arthur's wife. She was burned severely saving her family from a devastating house fire and later died of her wounds in the hospital. Her ghost initially appears in a hospital gown, hooked up to an IV pole and showing severe burns on her face. Unlike the other ghosts, she is not a vengeful spirit, electing to help her family rather than show malevolence. At the end of the movie, she appears fully healed and in her normal clothing.

5. The Torn Prince - The Torn Prince is the ghost of Royce Clayton, born in 1940 who was a gifted baseball star in high school, albeit with attitude issues and a superiority complex. In 1957 he was challenged by a greaser named Johnny to a drag race, but was killed as his car spun out of control and flipped over; the cause of the accident was a cut brake line. He was buried in a plot of earth that overlooked the baseball diamond. His ghost carries a baseball bat, and in the background in his cube his wrecked car can be seen. Half of his body is torn to shreds from when he was dragged under the car.

6. The Angry Princess - The Angry Princess is Dana Newman, who did not believe in her own natural beauty. Abusive boyfriends fueled her low self-esteem, which led to much unneeded plastic surgery for imagined defects. Eventually she got a job working for a plastic surgeon, getting paid in treatments rather than cash. Alone at the clinic one night, she tried to perform surgery on herself, but wound up blinding herself in one eye and permanently mutilating herself beyond saving. She committed suicide in the bathtub by slashing her body repeatedly with a butcher knife. When she was found, people noted that she was as beautiful in death as she had been in life. Her ghost is naked, still carrying the knife she killed herself with and showing all the wounds, and the inside walls of her cube are splattered with her blood. In her bathroom scene, the phrase "I'm sorry" is visible on the floor in blood; subtitles also reveal that the blurred, hissing speech that announces her arrival is her whispering "I'm sorry." This was written on her suicide note. When her cube opens, she advances toward Ben Moss, who backs up into an open doorway to get away from her and is killed when it snaps shut on him.

7. The Pilgrimess - The Pilgrimess is the ghost of Isabella Smith, an Englishwoman who traveled across the Atlantic and settled in New England during colonial times. She was an outsider to the town she moved into, and this isolated her from the other townsfolk. She was found guilty of witchcraft after livestock began to die mysteriously; when she emerged from a burning barn completely unharmed, she was sentenced to the stocks (pillory) with no food or drink until she died. As a ghost, she is still locked into her stocks.

8. & 9. The Great Child and The Dire Mother - The Dire Mother is the ghost of Margaret Shelburne, who was an attraction in a carnival due to her being only three feet tall. She was raped by the "Tall Man," another carnival freak. Her son Harold (the Great Child) was born as a result of that rape; he eventually weighed over 300 pounds (136 kg). Harold, spoiled, was raised as his mother's protector and kept a child-like mindset, to the point that he wore diapers his entire life. One day some of the carnival employees decided to play a little practical joke on Harold, and kidnapped his mother. Enraged, he set out to look for her, but when he caught up with the culprits, he found that his mother had accidentally suffocated to death in the bag that she was kept in. Harold killed the kidnappers with an ax, keeping their remains and displaying them for paying customers. Later, when the owner of the carnival found out what Harold had done, he ordered a mob of people to tear Harold apart. Their ghosts are always together, and Harold still wields the ax and wears a bib stained with food that his mother has spoon-fed to him.

10. The Hammer - The Hammer is the ghost of an African-American blacksmith, George Markley, who lived in a small town in the 1890s. He was wrongfully accused of stealing by a white man from his town, and when threatened with exile, refused to leave town. A gang led by his accuser hanged his wife and children and burned their bodies; in revenge, George used his sledgehammer to beat the culprits to death. He was then subjected to a cruel form of frontier justice by the townsfolk, being chained to a tree and executed by having railroad spikes driven into his body with his own sledgehammer. As a final touch,they cut off his hand and attached the sledgehammer - handle and all - to the hand that was cut off. His ghost is seen with the railroad spikes protruding from his body and a sledgehammer for a left hand.

11. The Jackal - The Jackal is the ghost of Ryan Kuhn, who was born in 1887 to a prostitute. Ryan had an insatiable lust for women, rape, and murdering prostitutes. Wanting to be cured, he committed himself to Borehamwood Asylum, but after attacking a nurse, he was put in a straitjacket and thrown in a padded room. After years of this imprisonment he went completely insane, scratching at the walls so violently that his fingernails were torn completely off. The doctors kept him permanently bound in his straitjacket, tying it tighter when he acted out, causing his limbs to contort horribly. Still fighting to free himself, Ryan gnawed through the jacket until the doctors finally locked his head in a metal cage and sealed him away in the dark basement cell. There, he grew to hate any kind of human contact, screaming madly and cowering whenever approached. When a fire broke out in the asylum, everyone but Ryan escaped. He chose to stay behind and face the fire. As a ghost, his arms are free from his jacket, and the bars of his cage are ripped outwards.

12. The Juggernaut - The Juggernaut is the ghost of a serial killer named Horace "Breaker" Mahoney. Standing seven feet tall, he was of such grotesque height and appearance that everyone ostracized him as a child. His mother abandoned him at birth, so his father raised him - putting him to work in the junkyard crushing old cars. After his father died, Horace was left on his own, and soon went mad. He would pick up female hitchhikers and drive them back to his junkyard, then tear them apart with his bare hands and feed them to his dogs. One day he picked up an undercover female police officer, who called for backup, for a SWAT team to surround the junkyard. Since close combat was impossible, the police instead struck the yard, and arrested the giant. However, Horace broke free from the cuffs, and three officers lost their lives. Quickly, five SWAT officers, took out their guns and brought Horace down in a hail of bullets. When he finally went down, they shot an extra round into him, just to be safe. His ghost still shows bullet holes all over his clothing, and the round that finished him.

SYNOPSIS

In The Ring, Rachel Keller and her son Aidan became victims of a mysterious evil force responsible for the deaths of four teenagers in a mountain cabin. He killed the spirit of Samara Morgan, a girl who drowned in a well 25 years earlier, was trapped in a twilight world from which he communicated telepathically with the living world through the medium of videotape . When someone looks at the surreal images recorded on the tape that come straight from the mind of Samara, the phone rings and the voice of the girl says "seven days" ( "seven days") is what remains of life who has looked at the contents of the tape. Rachel in her research begins to see images on the videotape in real life. Racheal and her boyfriend who joins the investigation believe that the videotape is treated on Samara's mother is named Anna Morgan, and Anna is in several parts of the video (combed in a mirror, in a window, committing suicide by jumping from a cliff) Rachel's life for Anna. In the course of the search for it to find witnesses and documents that mention that Anna has a daughter, apparently the tape, was drowned. Rachel tries to discover how to save his son, who has heard the fatal message, and break the cycle of viral Samara.

THE RING 2
SYNOPSIS

As in the first installment, entitled The Ring, it all starts when a group of young people find a copy of the tape damn, now they know they will die seven days after watching it because they know the rumor, so I start a game in which he earns be able to support as many days after watching it, filming everything that happens. One of them, the last to see her two minutes left to fulfill the time of his death, he delivered the tape to a friend so that she saw her, he can save himself, but it turned out she was not able to see her fear and he died.

Shortly after that, Rachel, the protagonist of the first delivery, moves into town with his

son to try to forget what happened. In the village he finds a job as a journalist, which will see the story of a supernatural death had occurred (the boy's).

On reaching the place, he discovers that the death was caused by the damn video of Samara, so it gets done with the copy of the boy and burning that Samara never returns to his life and that of her child.

Unfortunately for her, the fire gives some sort of paranormal power to Samara that allows the most precious possession, Rachel's son Aidan. The story that gives more power to fire the ghosts can also be seen in the saga of "The Curse" ( "The Grudge"), where the protagonist, Karen Davis, sets fire to the house of spirits, these are made more powerful, for the same with the spirit of Samara.

At first, Aidan begins to sicken and paranormal things happen like that animals attack him and it repels water. Then Rachel realizes that Samara is hurting and starts to investigate the origins of the call to deal with it.

Researching in the Morgan house, Samara adoptive parents who later committed suicide, he discovers that Samara came from an orphanage run by nuns, when directed there, he discovers that her birth mother had tried to drown when he was just a baby and is now confined in a psychiatric facility.
When going to see her, the woman that you must stifle your child to see Samara can not stay in the world of the living and must return to the dead.

Meanwhile, in the village, Aidan, who remained in the hospital is totally possessed by Samara, which seeks to Rachel and she was the one found in the well and think it should be his mother. So he turns to his house, killing all who dare try to stop them.

When Rachel gets home, she saw with horror as Aidan is possessed by Samara, not knowing what to do, she falls asleep. Then you can talk to your child as the only way that Samara did not hear them is through the subconscious of dreams, because the dead can not dream.

Aidan says the same thing as Samara's mother, if not try to drown him, Samara never go away of their lives. Rachel is her courage to awaken and give a drug to Samara / Aidan to sleep and so take for her into the bathtub. Once he begins to drown him, then Samara leaves your body and leaves. Aidan is still alive.

After that, Samara back through the TV and grabs Rachel to take her to the well. Rachel, in that place, he discovers that Samara wants a single mother to stay with her and that her only outlet to the outside, the world of the living, is by the well, so climbing over the place, Rachel comes from the well and seal it so that Samara never leaves again, breaking once and for all the curse. But Rachel realizes that her dream is seeking a mother figure, talk to her before leaving the pit (scenes not shown in the film). Rachel embraces a moment, but when he realizes Samara Rachel intends to leave, but she pursues it.

Then, by the whispers of Aidan, get back to the real world by jumping off the cliff as it did decades ago Anna Morgan.

In 1973, five college students, Erin (Jessica Biel), Kemper (Eric Balfour), Morgan (Jonathan Tucker), Andy (Mike Vogel), and Pepper (Erica Leerhsen), are on their way to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert after coming back from Mexico. As they drive through Texas, they see a distraught hitchhiker, who eventually gets in their van. After trying to speak to the hitchhiker, who speaks incoherently about a "bad man," she shoots and kills herself with a .357 Magnum. The group tries to contact the police, then go to a store where a woman tells them the sheriff is at the mill. Instead of the sheriff, they find a little boy named Jedediah (David Dorfman) who tells them that the sheriff is drinking at home. Erin and Kemper go through the woods to find his house, leaving the other three at the mill with the boy. They come to a farm house where Erin is allowed inside by the owner, Monty, to phone for help. When Erin finishes, the old man asks her for help. Kemper goes inside to look for Erin and is killed with a sledgehammer by Thomas Hewitt AKA Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski).

Meanwhile, Sheriff Hoyt (R. Lee Ermey) arrives at the mill and disposes of the hitchhiker's body, wrapping her in cellophane and putting her in his trunk. Erin arrives and finds that Kemper is still missing. Andy and Erin go back to the Monty's house, where Erin distracts him while Andy searches for Kemper. Monty realizes Andy is inside and summons Leatherface, who attacks him with his chainsaw. Erin escapes and heads towards the woods, but Leatherface cuts Andy's leg off. Leatherface carries him to the basement and hangs him on a meat hook, where he rubs salt on Andy's stump of a leg before wrapping it in butcher paper. Erin makes it to the mill and tries to escape in the van, but the sheriff shows up and, after finding marijuana, orders Erin, Morgan, and Pepper out of the van. The sheriff gives Morgan the gun he took from the hitchhiker and tells Morgan to reenact how she killed herself. Morgan, scared and disturbed by the sheriff's demeanor, attempts to shoot the sheriff only to find the gun is unloaded. Sheriff Hoyt handcuffs Morgan and takes him to the farmhouse, leaving the girls in the van where they are attacked by Leatherface. Pepper runs, but is cut in half by Leatherface's chainsaw. Erin also sees that Leatherface is wearing Kemper's face over his own. Erin manages to escape and hide in a trailer with two women inside, who offer her tea and try to soothe her. Erin discovers they have kidnapped a child. However, the tea is drugged and she passes out when she tries to leave.

Erin wakes up at the Hewitt house surrounded by the Hewitt family: Leatherface, his mother Luda May (Marietta Marich), Sheriff Hoyt (Charlie Hewitt), Monty, and Jedidiah. Luda May reveals that they used to work in a slaughterhouse but turned to capturing people, killing them, and selling their meat. Erin is taken to the basement, where she finds Andy. She tries to help him off of the meat hook but he begs her to kill him, which she does. She finds Morgan, still handcuffed, and Jedidiah leads them out of the house. Jedediah rejects Erin's plea to come with them and distracts Leatherface long enough for them to escape. Erin and Morgan find an abandoned house in the woods and barricade themselves inside. Leatherface breaks in and discovers Erin, but Morgan attacks Leatherface, causing him to drop his chainsaw. Leatherface hangs Morgan on the chandelier by his handcuffs and kills him. Erin runs out of the shack and escapes through the woods. Leatherface trips and cuts his leg while pursuing her. Erin finds a slaughterhouse and hides in a locker; Leatherface opens the locker next to hers and she attacks him with a meat cleaver, severing his arm. Erin runs outside and flags down a trucker, whom she tries to convince to go away from the Hewitt's house, but he stops to find help at the eatery. Erin sees Luda May and watches as Sheriff Hoyt arrives and talks to the trucker. Erin sees the Hewitt family with the kidnapped baby in a highchair. Erin sneaks the baby out of the eatery and hotwires the sheriff's car before running him over. Leatherface appears in the road and tries to stop her, but Erin and the baby escape unharmed.

In 1969, on one last fling before leaving to serve in the Vietnam War, two brothers, Dean (Taylor Handley) and Eric (Matthew Bomer), embark on a road trip across Texas with their girlfriends, Chrissie (Jordana Brewster) and Bailey (Diora Baird). After their jeep crashes on a deserted highway, the sadistic Sheriff Hoyt (R. Lee Ermey) mysteriously arrives on the scene. Chrissie hides in the nearby bush as she helplessly watches the sheriff abduct her three friends. Taking them to his secluded house of horrors, Hoyt introduces his new captives to the deranged Hewitt family and their gruesome son, Thomas Hewitt a.k.a. Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski), who has a ravenous appetite for chainsaws and torture. Chrissie becomes an eyewitness to the gory carnage inflicted by Leatherface upon her friends and quickly realizes that only she can offer them any hope of survival. Eric succumbs first to Leatherface's cannibalistic intentions: Leatherface forces his massive chainsaw into Eric's chest, killing him. Chrissie witnesses this horrible event, and before leaving, tries to save Bailey. But the sheriff captures Chrissie and she has to watch Bailey have her throat slit. She insults the family by remarking on their inbreeding, and escapes by stabbing Leatherface and running from the house. Dean follows Leatherface's pursuit of her after attacking the sheriff. Chrissie, Leatherface, and Dean reach a slaughterhouse. Dean tries to neutralize Leatherface, but gets killed in the process. Chrissie runs to her car and bolts onto the road. Thinking she has reached safety, she approaches a police checkpoint, but Leatherface emerges from the back seat of the car. Leatherface kills Chrissie and in the process accidentally runs over a police officer and a man recieving a ticket, killing them. Leatherface exits the car and leaves the crime scene, and the credits begin to roll.

PERSONAL OPINION

For me it is one of the best films that have been done.
It is a story of real life, so cruel but it is worth knowing. I recommend it very much. I see it several times and always causes the same reaction in me.

Two young Americans (Paxton and Josh) travel to Europe in search of easy sex. On their journey they meet a young Icelander named Oli. The group arrives in Amsterdam, where they complete part of their erotic journey in a nightclub.

Upon returning to his hostel, are already closed because it is too late. Then a young man offered to spend the night with him and them, not to sleep on the street, they accept. The boy tells them that in eastern Europe where there is a hostel you stay there any sex with girls more beautiful. So the kids board a train en route to the hostel. On the train they meet a man of business who talk, though a bit weird. Upon reaching the station, the kids get off the train and start looking for the hostel. When they are, once the girls begin to have interest in them. That same night, the boys achieved their goal with the girls after going to a nightclub.

The next morning, Oli disappears mysteriously as Kana's friend, a young woman also lies in the hostel. Kana tells Oli Paxton and Josh who escaped along with her friend. Then the children will be calm, but are not completely safe. Then, in the streets, know the children of the city, who appear out of nowhere asking for gum to all the tourists and if not give them, children begin to attack them. Paxton and Josh, knowing that they are not given for them alone. The protagonists, very puzzled by what to Oli, decide it's better to return, but before you decide to go back to the nightclub with girls who knew as his farewell. There, Josh begins to feel ill and returns to the hostel where he disappears. While at Paxton has got it all but he faints at the disco. Then Josh is chained to a chair in a dark unknown place and masked. Once discovered, the businessman they met on the train appears and begins to torture the poor of Josh cutting his heels. Josh tries to escape in their state, but fails.

The next day, without knowing where Paxton Oli and Josh, decides that it is best to leave, but before the girls asked to be told something about Josh. They respond by saying that Josh went to a convention of art. Paxton asks a ride there and it was. Once there, they see a lot of vehicles and strangers. Paxton enters an abandoned building that is supposedly the convention, but is tricked and trapped by men who quickly take you to a room for execution. Paxton starts being tortured by a man who seems rather pity him and he pulls out a saw with which he cut two fingers. Soon, Paxton manages to free himself, slipping his tormentor and cut his leg. Then she finishes off with one shot. Then the boy begins his escape. Paxton discovers the hostel and place of torture are connected as well as girls. It was all part of a tourist trap. He discovers that people pay to kill European tourists to satisfy their pleasures and this is the means. Paxton also discovers that both Oli and Josh were brutally murdered there.

Upon leaving the place, Paxton gets into a car but before leaving, sympathizes with the terrifying screams of a girl about to be murdered. Discover who is Kana and saved, but price, Paxton had to cut his right eye, which was already out of its socket. Once done, go out and climb into the car and coached at the train station to escape. Along the way, are the girls from the hostel and the guy who offered her room to spend the night in Amsterdam. Paxton takes his revenge by running them over. At that time, they discover that they are persecuted and Paxton answered using street children to attack their persecutors. The children manage to killing them with stones. Then, before arriving at the station, they discover that there is a roadblock of cops who seek them, who are also linked. Before the discovery, Paxton and Kana escape.

In the train station, Paxton and Kana realize it is full of people who was in the building of torture and that are looking for. Kana, seeing his face disfigured, commits suicide by jumping to the tracks and is hit by one of them calling the attention of all and Paxton escapes on a train.

Once in Amsterdam, the boy is back with the businessman and following him through the train station to the bathroom, he takes revenge by cutting off fingers and drowning him in a toilet. Then, Paxton gets on the train and escape the nightmare ...

The three girls attend a party being held that night in town at this event Lorna meets a man from whom he falls in love, but it turns out that this man is responsible for recruiting victims of hostel for clients torturers and murderers.

The original draft of the screenplay was titled The Babysitter Murders. The Blair Witch Project is an American horror film released in 1999. The narrative is presented as a documentary pieced together from amateur footage, filmed in real time. The film was produced by the Haxan Films production company. The film relates the story of three young student filmmakers (Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard, and Michael C. Williams) who hike into the Black Hills of Burkittsville, Maryland to film a documentary about a local legend known as the Blair Witch, and subsequently go missing. The viewer is told that the three were never found, although their video and sound equipment (along with most of the footage they shot) was discovered a year later. This "recovered footage" is presented as the film the viewer is watching.

A sequel to The Blair Witch Project was released on October 27, 2000 entitled Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. A third installment was planned for the following year, but did not materialize.

Some people told me that this film was crap, but i like it the first one, the second part was crap :)

Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) is plagued by nightmare visions of strange looking dogs, and an evil child with bright blue eyes. While baby-sitting Matty, her neighbor's son, she hears Matty's voice over the baby monitor. When she goes to check on the newborn, she finds Matty showing the infants reflection, then he attacks her with the mirror, and says "Jumby wants to be born now". The next day, Casey's friend Romy tells a superstition involving newborns and mirrors: they shouldn't see their reflections for at least a year.

When she comes back from her run the next day, an ambulance is outside her neighbors house, and another neighbor tells her "the baby wasn't breathing", indicating what Romy said was true.

After being hit with the mirror, Casey's eyes begin to change color, which an optician explains as experiencing Tetragametic chimerism and Heterochromia. After questioning her father she learns she had a twin brother who died in the womb.

Casey begins to suspect that the spirit haunting her is the soul of her dead twin wanting to be born so it can transfer to the world of the living. Casey meets a woman named Sofi, who is revealed to be her grandmother. Sofi explains that she had a twin brother who was killed in Nazi experiments in Auschwitz when they were both just children during World War II. The boy was brought back to life by a dybbuk who intended to use his body as a portal into the world of the living. Sofi killed her twin to stop the dybbuk, and now it haunts her family for revenge. Sofi refers Casey to Rabbi Sendak (Gary Oldman), who can perform a Jewish exorcism to remove the dybbuk. Rabbi Sendak doesn't believe her at first until he sees a dog with its head twisted upside down in his synagogue. During this time, the dybbuk kills Sofi and Romy, and Casey realizes it's getting stronger. The exorcism is performed, but things go awry as the dybbuk tries to stop Rabbi Sendak from completing the ritual.

Several people are wounded, and others are killed. The exorcism is finally completed, and the dybbuk is drawn back from the human world. Casey's boyfriend, Mark, gets possessed by the dybbuk and is severely wounded when Casey stabs him in the jugular vein to stop him from killing her and later dies with Casey by his side. The Poltergeist movies are a trilogy of horror films produced in the 1980s. Steven Spielberg co-wrote and co-produced the first Poltergeist, with Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre) as the director. Brian Gibson directed Poltergeist II: The Other Side, while Poltergeist III was directed, co-written, co-produced and storyboarded by Gary Sherman.

Michael Grais and Mark Victor co-wrote the first film with Spielberg, wrote the second film on their own and also co-produced it. Brian Taggert and an uncredited Steve Feke co-wrote the third film.

Poltergeist (1982)
In the first and most successful film (released on June 4, 1982), a group of seemingly benign ghosts begin communicating with five-year-old Carol Anne Freeling in her parents' suburban California home via static on the television. Eventually they use the TV as their path into the house itself. They kidnap Carol Anne, and most of the film involves the family's efforts to rescue her. Eventually they do, but then the spirits, led by a demon known only as The Beast, go on a rampage.
Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986)
This sequel exists to explain in much greater detail why Carol Anne was targeted in the first film. As it turns out, the Freelings' house in the first movie was built over a massive underground cavern that was the final resting place of a utopian cult that died there in the early 1800s. This cavern was even below the graveyard that wasn't relocated in the first film. The cult was led by Rev. Henry Kane, who did not have the best intentions. He was power hungry, and anxious to control the souls of his followers in both life and death.
Poltergeist III (1988)
Apparently, between the second and third films, the Freeling family has had quite enough of all supernatural activity, and have decided to cut it off at the source: Carol Anne is now living with her aunt Pat (whom Carol Anne insists on calling Trish, a common nickname for Patricia; this is important later in the film as a way of identifying an impostor Carol Anne) and her uncle Bruce. Kane comes back to take Carol Anne by taking over peoples reflections in mirrors and taking them to the other side. But Aunt Trish and Bruce have to rescue them because this time, Kane does not want to let Carol Anne go.

It (also referred to as Stephen King's It) based on the novel of the same name. The film stars Tim Curry in the eponymous role of "It" (also known as Pennywise).

"It" apparently originated in a void containing and surrounding the universe, a place referred to in the novel as the "Macroverse" (a concept similar to the later established Todash Darkness of The Dark Tower series).

It's real name is Bob Gray or Pennywise and is christened "It" by the group of children who later confront It. Likewise, It's true form is never truly comprehended. It's favorite form is a clown (with fangs and large claws when it stalks a child) known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, and It's final form in the physical realm is that of an enormous spider, but even this is only the closest the human mind can get to approximating It's actual physical form.

It's natural enemy is "The Turtle", another ancient Macroverse dweller who, eons ago, created our universe and possibly others. The Turtle shows up again in King's series The Dark Tower. The book suggests that It, along with the Turtle, are themselves creations of a separate, omnipotent creator referred to as "the Other".

It's power is apparently quite vast; during the second Ritual of Chüd, It offers the Losers money, power, and supernatural lifespans if they spare It. Of course, It could merely have been bluffing in order to save itself.

REMAKE

In 2011, Warner Bros. will be releasing a theatrical remake. Not much is known about the remake except it will be R-rated and it will take place in the mid 1980s and the present equally.

STEPHEN EDWIN KING

It is an American writer of contemporary horror fiction, science fiction, fantasy literature, and screenplays.

King's first film appearance was in George Romero's "Knightriders" as a buffoonish audience member. His first featured role was in Creepshow, playing Jordy Verrill, a backwoods redneck who, after touching a fallen meteor in hopes of selling it, grows moss all over his body. He has since made cameos in several adaptations of his works. He appeared in Pet Sematary as a minister at a funeral, in Rose Red as a pizza deliveryman, as a news reporter in The Storm of the Century, in The Stand as "Teddy Wieszack," in the Shining miniseries as a band member, in The Langoliers as Tom Holby and in Sleepwalkers as the cemetery caretaker.

He has also appeared in The Golden Years, in Chappelle's Show and, along with fellow author Amy Tan, on The Simpsons as himself. In addition to acting, King tried his hand at directing with Maximum Overdrive, in which he also made a cameo appearance as a man using an ATM that is on the fritz.

The two women soon realize that the people, which was deserted after being devastated by a terrible fire, is unlike any other. Fog is an integral part of a landscape inhabited by strange beings. Besides, the place is flooded periodically by a living darkness that changes everything it touches. While searching for her daughter Rose begins to learn the history of Silent Hill (his violent past and Puritan, and the origins of the curse that suffers) and understands that his daughter is part of something much bigger and frightening.

Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland) has seen better days. It is almost a year since the volatile detective was suspended from his job in the Police Department of New York after being fatally shot another policeman who was working undercover, an accident that not only cost him his job, but took him to alcoholism and anger that broke away from his wife and children, now having to spend the night in his sister's couch in Queens.

Eager to overcome it and be reunited with his family, Carson is employed as night watchman at the burned ruins of the Mayflower stores.

What once was a symbol of prosperity and opulence now is deteriorating in the dark, which is being corrupted as a ghost ship, devastated by a massive fire that claimed many innocent lives.

As Carson patrols by the grisly, charred remains of the Mayflower department stores, says something sinister about the mirrors that adorn the magnificent walls. In its immense glass reflect a terrifying images of grave concern to Carson.

Beyond projecting gruesome images of the past, the mirrors appear to also manipulate reality. Seeing how his own reflection being tortured, Carson experienced the physical effect of the injuries he sees.

Unexpectedly, the disoriented former policeman has to face his own demons and that caused her reflection.

It is a 1973 U.S. horror film directed by William Friedkin, adapted from the 1971 novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty, dealing with the demonic possession of a young girl, and her mother’s desperate attempts to win back her daughter through an exorcism conducted by two priests. The film features Ellen Burstyn, Linda Blair, Max von Sydow, Kitty Winn, Lee J. Cobb, Jason Miller, and Mercedes McCambridge. Both the film and novel took inspiration from a documented exorcism in 1949, performed on a fourteen-year-old boy. The film is one of a cycle of 'demonic child' movies produced in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including Rosemary's Baby and The Omen.

URBAN LEGENDS
AND ON SET INCIDENTS

Some claim the film was cursed. Blatty has stated on video some strange occurrences. Burstyn indicated some rumors to be true in her 2006 autobiography Lessons in Becoming Myself. The interior sets of the MacNeil residence, except for Regan's bedroom, were destroyed by a studio fire and had to be rebuilt. Friedkin has claimed that a priest was brought in numerous times to bless the set. Other issues include Blair's harness breaking when she is thrashing on the bed, injuring the actress. Burstyn noted she was slightly hurt when Regan throws her across the room. Actor Jack MacGowran (Burke Dennings) died during filming.

THE SPIDER
WALK SCENE

Contortionist Linda R. Hager was hired to perform the infamous "spider-walk scene" that was filmed on April 11, 1973. Friedkin deleted the scene just prior to the original December 26, 1973 release date because he felt it was ineffective technically. However, with advanced developments in digital media technology, Friedkin worked with CGI artists to make the scene look more convincing for the 2000 theatrically re-released version of The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen. Since the original release, myths and rumors still exist that a variety of spider-walk scenes were filmed despite Friedkin's insistence that no alternate version was ever shot

In 1998, Warner Brothers re-released the digitally remastered DVD of The Exorcist: 25th Anniversary Special Edition. This DVD includes the special feature BBC documentary, The Fear of God: The Making of The Exorcist, highlighting the never-before-seen original non-bloody version of the spider-walk scene. The updated "bloody version" of the spider-walk scene appears in the 2000 re-release of The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen utilizing CGI technology to incorporate the special effect of blood pouring from Regan's mouth during this scene’s finale.

ALLEGED SUBLIMINAL
IMAGERY

The Exorcist was also at the center of controversy due to its alleged use of subliminal imagery. A detailed article in the July / August 1991 issue of Video Watchdog examined the phenomenon, providing still frames identifying several usages of subliminal "flashing" throughout the film. In an interview from the same issue, Friedkin explained, "I saw subliminal cuts in a number of films before I ever put them in The Exorcist, and I thought it was a very effective storytelling device... The subliminal editing in The Exorcist was done for dramatic effect — to create, achieve, and sustain a kind of dreamlike state." However, these quick, scary flashes have been labeled "[not] truly subliminal" and "quasi-" or "semi-subliminal". True subliminal imagery must be, by definition, below the threshold of awareness. In an interview in a 1999 book about the movie, The Exorcist author William Blatty addressed the controversy by explaining that, "There are no subliminal images. If you can see it, it's not subliminal."

THE OMEN

The Omen is a 1976 British suspense/horror film directed by Richard Donner. The film stars Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner, Harvey Stephens, Billie Whitelaw, Patrick Troughton, Martin Benson and Leo McKern. It is the first film in The Omen series and was scripted by David Seltzer, who also wrote the novel.

A remake, The Omen 666, was released on June 6, 2006, a release date chosen because of its reference to the Number of the Beast (666). But it's crap, so i don't want to writte about it.

PLOT
THE OMEN

The premise of The Omen comes from the end times prophecies of Christianity. The story, set in Fulham, England, tells of the childhood of Damien Thorn, who was switched at birth in Rome with the supposedly stillborn child of a wealthy American diplomat with only the husband's knowledge, in order to keep it from affecting his wife. Damien's family is unaware that he is actually the offspring of Satan and destined to become the Antichrist.

CURSE

A documentary entitled "The Curse of 'The Omen'" was shown on British television in 2005. The production of The Omen was plagued with a series of incidents which some members of the crew attributed to the operation of a curse. They wondered if these events were due to supernatural forces trying to prevent the filming of the movie. Instances include the following:

Scriptwriter David Seltzer's plane was struck by lightning.
Gregory Peck, in a separate incident, had his plane struck by lightning.
Richard Donner's hotel was bombed by the Provisional I.R.A..
Gregory Peck canceled his reservation on a flight. The plane he had originally chartered crashed, killing all on board (a group of Japanese business-men).

A warden at the safari park used in the "crazy baboon" scene was attacked and killed by a lion the day after the crew left.
Rottweilers hired for the film attacked their trainers.
On the first day of shooting, the principal members of the crew were involved in a head-on car crash, one of whom was decapitated like a character in the actual film.
This documentary later appeared on the two-disc thirtieth anniversary DVD release of The Omen and in the Pentology DVD set.

Both the movie and the novelization were written by David Seltzer (the book preceded the movie by two weeks as an effective marketing gimmick). For the book, Seltzer took liberties with his own material, augmenting plot points and character backgrounds and changing details (such as character names — Holly becomes Chessa Whyte, Keith Jennings becomes Huber Jennings, Father Brennan becomes Father Edgardo Emilio Tassone, et cetera).

The second and third novels were novelized forms of their respective movies and more-or-less reflected movie continuity. Interestingly, Gordon McGill retroactively changed the time period of The Omen to the 1950s, in order to make The Final Conflict (featuring an adult Damien) take place explicitly in the 1980s. Although neither the first Omen movie nor its novelisation mention what year the story takes place, it can be assumed that its setting was intended to be the year the movie was released (i.e. 1976).
